About the Rockland Talbot House Hotel
At the Rockland Talbot House Hotel, we aim to pamper with comfortable rooms and luxury amenities. Included in the room rate is something to start and end your day with – we start you off with our continental breakfast and end your day with a slice of homemade pie or other sweet treat in between, you can enjoy over 30 restaurants in Rockland alone from food trucks, to seafood on the water, sandwiches, sit-down restaurants, pubs, etc… There are wonderful restaurants in the area, and we will help you find what you are craving! And not to worry, we will show you where to leave your dirty dishes, and we will take care of them for you. The Hotel in Rockland, Maine is licensed to serve our guests a daily light continental breakfast. If you are an early riser, you can enjoy breakfast beverage service (coffee, tea, juice or water) available in the guest pantry area in the dining room.
Otherwise, don’t worry about setting an alarm clock – you are on vacation, after all! – so we serve our light continental breakfast anytime between 8:00am and 10:00am in the dining room. Feel free to jumpstart your day or to sleep in!
Our continental breakfast includes coffee, tea or juice and a variety of yogurt, cereal, oatmeal and breakfast bars. We ask that you please let us know your allergies, or special needs at booking so we can be prepared to accommodate you.
Stocked 24-Hour Guest Pantry Area and Homemade Evening Sweets
Our guest pantry area has a refrigerator for guests to store their leftovers, wine, or other foods. The pantry has a microwave, assorted dishes, silverware, and glassware. It is stocked with assorted teas, microwave, coffee, and cocoa.
We offer our guests a homemade dessert every evening.
Whether you are traveling alone, as a couple, or with a group, the Rockland Talbot House offers many comfortable spaces to gather outside of your guest room.
The Grand Parlor is our largest space, featuring 12-foot ceilings and a working fireplace. Comfortable seating and a piano provide a relaxing time.
The Second Floor Library for reading a good book.
The Hotel offers both a front porch and a side porch and there are chairs on the side lawn between the Rockland Talbot House and the Berry Manor Inn if you want to soak-up some rays amongst the gardens.
Off-Street Parking and Charging Stations
The Rockland Talbot House Hotel offers off-street parking for all of our guests. Maine is generally a very safe state but in today’s world there are issues everywhere and we suggest that you make sure your cars and bikes are locked up at night. We do have video surveillance cameras in the parking area and at all exterior doors.
Guests of the Rockland Talbot House Hotel that are travelling with a Tesla or other electric automobile are welcome to charge overnight at the charging station shared with the Berry Manor Inn (directly next door).
